We recently participated in a program called “Rock Solid Character”, the students got to climb a large, rockwall.

All 2nd,3rd,4th,and 5th grade students will get to participate in a program tomorrow called “Rock Solid Character.” Students (who’ve brought back permission slips that were sent home a few weeks ago) will get to gear up and climb a rock wall. Make sure your child has turned in his/her permission slip. Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes are highly recommended.

The Star Search Finals will be this Friday, April 16 at the auditorium in the Junior High School. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade finals will start at 9:00am. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade finals will start at 1:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come enjoy our talent!

Rivercrest Elementary will have registration on April 23. 9:00 – 11:00 for all incoming kindergarteners and 1:00 – 3:00 for all potential pre-kindergarteners. Your child needs: copy of official birth certificate, copy of current immunization record, copy of child’s social security card, custody of court papers (if applicable), and a copy of driver’s license of guardian.

Spring picture packets have been sent home with every child. If you’d like to purchase the entire packet or just parts of it, please send money/check back to the school immediately. If you are NOT purchasing or only purchasing part of the packet, please send those pictures back immediately as well. Please do NOT keep the pictures without paying for them.
