It is a good feeling to know we have finished our last important TAKS test. Now we can look forward to enjoying some well earned REWARDS for our hard work this year.

We are reviewing for the Science TAKS TEST which will be given on April 29. This week we will cover Study Guides 13-19 and take Practice TEST A, B, C, D.
Spelling words for the week will be taken from Study Guides 13-19.
This is a very busy time of the year. I really urge my parents to look at the Science Notebook and review the Study Guides with their student.
I really appreciate ALL the help my parents are giving their children.

Social Studies – We will only have 1 new capital and state per week during January. We will still have a test every Friday over the new state and 9 of the states we have already covered.
We are entering a Soil and Water Conservation Contest. We will enter an essay and a poster. The students have an information sheet on this contest. Students will earn grades in English, Science and Social Studies for this work.
The winners will earn cash prizes and a trip to Clarksville with a stop at the Dairy Queen.
