After a two week study of the monarch butterfly, we migrated to Mexico. We sipped nectar and began our flight. We headed south, sipping nectar along the way. We finally made it to the butterfly tree in Mexico to spend the winter. The children had a great time pretending to be a monarch butterfly.

The 5th grade Horizons class will present a play “Sh! We’re Writing the Constitution” in the cafetorium at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17th.
All classes are invited as we celebrate Constitution Day at Rivercrest Elementary.
