We will start a Black History Month unit in sixth and seventh grade reading this week.  We will be looking into Famous Firsts and giving biographical reports of some important African-Americans in US History.  We will also be reading some African-American Folk Tales and other literature.  Hopefully, we will have fun and learn a lot!
